Preschool Reading Specialists

We are searching for enthusiastic, patient, and compassionate Preschool Reading Specialists to empower young minds aged 3-5 with essential reading skills. Join us in fostering a love for reading in the early stages of education.
WHO WE ARE
Preschool Readers is committed to providing young learners with a significant academic advantage by offering accelerated reading instruction. Our tailored sessions, conducted either in-home or virtually, aim to cultivate confidence and a genuine passion for reading in preschool-aged children.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Preschool Reading Specialist, you will employ a diverse range of hands-on, multi-sensory games and activities, making the learning process engaging and enjoyable for preschoolers. Through one-on-one 30-minute academic instruction, you will introduce young learners to the world of reading.
- Pre-made lesson plans to guide your sessions
- Flexible working hours that accommodate your schedule
- Compensation: $25 per 30-minute session plus performance-based bonuses
- Off weekends and holidays for a healthy work-life balance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate degree in education or currently pursuing one
- Teacher certification or actively working towards it
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with children (e.g., babysitting, camp counseling, etc.)
- Availability to work during the school year and throughout the summer

Virtual Social Media and Marketing Intern
Preschool Readers is hiring a reliable and enthusiastic Virtual Social Media and Marketing Intern.

WHO WE ARE
At Preschool Readers, we provide in-home and virtual reading instruction to preschoolers (3-5-year-olds).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions
- Support marketing campaign planning and execution
- Online outreach and promotion across various community-oriented websites
- Perform research to find articles, stories, resources, or other content that is relevant to our business
- Grow Preschool Readers online social networks by increasing fan base and interactions
- Participate in social media takeovers
- Host one Online Virtual Storytime LIVE Event
REQUIREMENTS
- Creative self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Available to work 2 – 4 hours a week
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THIS INTERNSHIP
- Academic Learning: Student will apply and test knowledge learned in the classroom to a professional work environment.
- Career Development: Student will explore the field of Social Media and Marketing, expand his or her professional network, and gain an understanding of the qualifications and duties involved in this specific field.
- Skill Development: Student will gain an understanding of the transferable skills and knowledge required for success in a professional work environment and integrates those skills into their academic learning.

Preschool Readers is hiring a reliable and enthusiastic Virtual English to Spanish Translation Intern.
Our internship will allow you to learn the craft of translation first-hand and put everything you have learned in school into practice. Ultimately, you will provide ready-to-use translated materials that help us reach a broader audience. Candidates should be positive and exhibit a strong work ethic. This is an unpaid position. WHO WE ARE
At Preschool Readers, we provide in-home and virtual reading instruction to preschoolers – ages 3- 5 years old.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reads through Preschool Readers Reading Curriculum in the English language, and ascertains an understanding of the meaning and context of the materials, and converts it into Spanish, making sure to preserve the original meaning and tone.
- Reads through Preschool Readers Marketing Materials in the English language, and ascertains an understanding of the meaning and context of the materials, and converts it into Spanish, making sure to preserve the original meaning and tone.
- Edit content/materials with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure)
- Translates online, video, and television media by providing subtitles.
- Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check the quality of translation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent in reading English and Spanish
- Fluent in writing English and Spanish
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Available to work 2 – 4 hours a week

- Research creative educational activities and experiences for Preschool Readers students
- Create engaging course content (videos, quizzes and activities)
- Research and recommend modern educational methods (e.g. gamification)
- Participate in social media takeovers
