Our Approach
We begin with an assessment to customize a plan for your child. Then, one of our Preschool Reading Specialists works with your learner during one-on-one, weekly, 30 minute sessions that include a variety of literacy-rich games and activities that are fun, educational, and extremely effective.

Meet Our Reading Specialists
Our Preschool Reading Specialists are here to ensure your child has what they need to succeed and lead in kindergarten and beyond. Each week they come to your home – or interact with your child online via virtual sessions – and provide an engaging and fun approach to learning to read. All specialists hold a graduate degree and certifications/endorsements in the field of education.
Before the start of your child’s first reading session, you’ll receive your child’s Preschool Reading Specialists Profile. This profile includes the specialist’s full name, education, experience, photo, and contact information.

Call us or fill out the contact form to schedule your child’s initial reading assessment to determine readiness for reading instruction.

Assessment Day
Assessments are held in-home or virtually and take no longer than 30 minutes. During the assessment, our Preschool Reading Specialist spends time getting to know your child with a focus on their concentration level, ability to follow directions, and reading readiness.

Post Assessment
Within a week following the assessment, you will be emailed the results. Should the results determine your child is ready to begin reading instruction, we work together to schedule the best day and time for their weekly, 30-minute reading sessions.
